SGS AXYS specializes in the measurement of known or suspected Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs) in environmental, biota and product samples. We offer state-of-the-art mass spectrometric analysis for more than a thousand compounds of interest. Our isotope dilution techniques and quality programs ensure data of industry-leading quality, detection limits and defensibility.

Most compounds are measured at ultra-trace levels, producing defensible data generated in the low picogram to low nanogram ranges. Our expertise ranges from promulgated method tests for organochlorine legacy compounds to analysis of emerging and pre-regulatory contaminants in environmental, human, biota and food matrices, and includes custom method development and validation for new compounds of interest.
